Our mission is to model the spirit of excellence demonstrated by the late, Mr. Zeak Lacy, dearly known as Daddy Lacy to many. Mr. Lacy was an educator for 35 years and retired from Blytheville Public Schools. He absolutely loved Algebra and worked diligently to create fun learning experiences for his students. He valued education and encouraged students as early as junior high school to begin to get serious about it. Not only was Mr. Lacy a highly skilled Algebra teacher, but he was also a mentor to many students. The father-daughter relationship that evolved between he and Nicole Eskin, the founder of the Daddy Lacy Project, is the reason this foundation is in operation today. Nicole often expresses that she was blessed by all of the talks, encouragement, comfort, support and love he showed not only to me but to all of his students. This organization hopes to model this lovingkindness toward our students, those who will lead us into the future. Thank you, Daddy Lacy, for being a beacon of light and hope to many generations. His legacy will continue throughout generations through the efforts of The Daddy Lacy Project.

Our mission is to fully engage and support the vision of God given to one of the most passionate and driven community leaders in Blytheville, Arkansas. One thing that Daddy Lacy left Nicole, his daughter by choice, is the gift of love. Her heart for people illuminates through personal contacts, phone calls, emails, and even texts. Her vibrant personality has drawn the heart of many in the community, and especially the many students she has mentored down through the years. The mission is for the Daddy Lacy Project to be the bridge back to family, community, and education, to ensure our school district and community grow better together in love. We celebrate this beautiful expression of God's love on earth, and we partner with her to make a difference in the Blytheville School District and the community at large.

Our mission is to embrace the students in the Blytheville School District both inside and outside of the classroom. We use this time bi-monthly to engage in meaningful conversation with students, to be an encouragement and support, not only to students, but to help teachers and school staff in any way possible. The schools and students love to see us coming!

Our mission is to bridge the gap between parents, students, and teachers by building healthy relationships. Why is engagement among parents, teachers, and students important? Studies show that parents are more invested in their children's learning when they have a positive relationship with teachers and staff. When students observe this bond, they are more likely to get involved themselves. As a result, you may see improvements in your child's behavior, grades, and, most importantly, their confidence.
We hold monthly meetings to check in on parents' mental health and discuss how we can support them. These meetings also provide updates on what is happening at our school and share resources available in our community.

Our mission to help students in middle school to prepare for their upcoming Algebra studies. Our goal is to target the students who are in the BASIC range of functioning (based on state assessments and teacher reporting). Sixth grade students who will enter the seventh grade in the upcoming school term are eligible for this program. We work with the elementary school to recruit and choose students who will benefit the most from our program, which is designed to be a support and reinforcement to classroom instruction so we can help the students become proficient in their math skills. We also have certified teachers with experience and a fun love of Algebra providing this instruction, so this will be a very rich opportunity for those who can and will take advantage. We are excited to offer this opportunity to our students and are so thankful for the partnership with Arkansas Northeastern College, as they have agreed to host this program on campus for this school term.
